FUJITSU has unveiled an Ultrabook specifically designed for the fairer sex. The Lifebook CH702 features pearl-like accents, LED lights with diamond cut surfaces, zirconia embellishments and gold trims for that extra feminine touch.
The company's decision to design a laptop specially for women is based on its discovery that women account for about half of the PC purchases over recent years.
Each Ultrabook comes with a matching wireless mouse which is shaped to look like a compact powder case, an adaptor pouch with pearl charms, and a slim, bejewelled AC adaptor.
It also comes preinstalled with Fujitsu's Diary and Scrapbook proprietary software which allows users to organise tasks, enhance photos, collate information and share them via social media platforms.
The 13.3in Ultrabook is 17.5mm thick, weighs 1.45kg and has a battery lifespan of more than seven hours. It's powered by a third-generation Intel Core i5 processor with Intel Turbo Boost technology, and runs on Windows 8.
The CH702 is available will be in white, pink and brown but the price has yet to be announced.
