This 16-megapixel shooter sports a wide-angle 25mm lens and comes with five times optical zoom.
It features a 1.5in front-facing LCD display that allows the photographer to be part of the picture and to get a perfectly centred picture effortlessly.
If you want to immediately share the photos you've taken, the DV300F can directly upload both pictures and videos to media sharing sites like Facebook, Picasa and YouTube.
Other features include Scene detection technology that can identify up to 16 different conditions and automatically adjust the camera to optimise settings for different circumstances.
The camera comes in several shades of metallic colours that include black, silver, navy and red.
