Compact but feature-packed

G100

GENERAL Imaging's latest cameras promise big features at a low price.

The GE G100 and GE E1410 SW each have a 14-megapixel sensor with built-in Aptina A-Pix CMOS pixel technology for enhanced light sensitivity to allow users to capture sharper photo with vibrant colours in low light conditions as well as a 3in LED screen.

Both cameras have a 10fps (frames per second) continuous shooting mode and can record 1080p high definition videos.

The cameras also feature a HDR (high dynamic range) with image blending option as well as over 30 shooting modes.

The modes include sunset, fireworks, landscape, sketch and panorama.

A tracking mode also allows the camera to detect faces, smiles, blinks, cats and dogs. Pictures can also be touched up in-camera like removing red eyes, softening skin colours and enlarging eyes.

There is also a HDMI out for connecting the cameras to a HDTV for viewing the pictures on a big screen. The difference between the two models is that the G100 has a 15x optical zoom while the E1410SW has a 10x zoom.

The G100 retails for RM599 and is available in black, red and white. The E1410SW costs RM549 and is available in black, brown, red and champagne. - ZAM KARIM
