A37
SONY Malaysia has introduced two new entry-level cameras, the SLT-A37 and Nex-F3, that feature interchangeble lens.
Small and lightweight, the A37 uses an electronic viewfinder and a tiltable LCD for high and low angle shots.
It has a 16.1-megapixel sensor with a high-speed continuous shooting mode of up to 7fps (frames per second), and it also records full HD videos in AVCHD format at 50i or 25fps.
To help inexperienced photographers take better shots, the A37 has a mode called Auto Portrait Framing which will automatically crop a photo to make it look more attractive.
Also, when the zoom level of your lens has reached its limit, the A37 has an interesting feature called 2x
Clear Image Zoom that can double the effective magnification of the lens without extra hardware.
Nex-F3
Meanwhile, the amazingly compact Nex-F3 is Sony's latest mirrorless camera and it has an Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor that offers better image quality and nice, defocused backgrounds.
One of the highlights of the camera is its flip-out LCD screen which can swing 180° for snapping self-portraits of yourselves.
The Nex-F3 also features Auto Portrait Framing and Clear Image Zoom.
The A37 and Nex-F3 have a starting price of RM1,999 each.
