KUALA LUMPUR: Fuji Xerox's two-in-one D95/D110/D125 monochrome printer and copier series is designed to meet the critical requirements of fast paced industries with tight turn-around times.

According to Fuji Xerox Malaysia president Masahiko Saito, different industries have different challenges and needs in office documentation. "To cater for their specific requirements, this series introduces customised print settings," he said.

The new product enables print-intensive office environments, such as those in government, education, legal and insurance sectors that often see high volume outputs with specific workflow, to increase their efficiency and performance.

This series features three copy and print speeds - up to 95-, 110- and 125-pages per minute - and this is shown by the model names.

Not just fast, the D95/D110/D125 devices also produce consistently high-quality prints while offering low-energy consumption, Saito said.

By utilising the proprietary Low Melt Emulsion Aggregation (EA) monochrome toner, the machines can produce up to 2,400 x 2,400dpi (dots per inch) resolution printouts. This means crisp text and graphics, according to Fuji Xerox.

Additionally, with the new "Tone Balance Feature Adjustment" option, users can adjust ink contrast, lightness and density to further enhance their printouts, as well as enjoy more detailed black-and-white images.

"This is important for certain industries, such as architecture, where the tint, shade and tone need to be highlighted as a base for architectural drawings," said Saito.

Also, Fuji Xerox announced, the EA toner melts at a much lower temperature than that for conventional toners, so users can save on toner use, as well as on the power consumption.

The machines also feature a one-step removal-and-replace toner cartridge slot, making the replacements much easier, while avoiding toner stains in the process.

This series also supports a wide range of optional finishing options, including stapling, hole punching, and booklet making.

Pricing starts from RM75,000.
