Acer has a new flagship Ultrabook, the Aspire S5.
The S5 was showcased at the Consumer Electronic Show and is claimed to be the world's thinnest Ultrabook, measuring just 11.2mm at its thinnest point.
The sleek 13.3in Ultrabook features a black magnesium-alloy chassis and only weighs 1.2kg.
Under the hood, it has an Intel Core i5 processor with 4GB RAM, high speed 128GB SSD (solid state drive) and Intel HD Graphics 4000 chip.
On the audio front, the S5's speakers are optimised with Dolby Home Theater v4 technology for better sound clarity.
It also features Acer's MagicFlip compartment which cleverly conceals USB 3.0, HDMI and Thunderbolt ports.
According to Acer, the Ultrabook has an estimated battery life of up to 6.5 hours.
The S5 has a recommended retail price of RM3,499.
