ULTRABOOK HAVEN: Visitors taking a look at the displays at Intel Ultrabook City in Low Yat Plaza.
As part of its year-long promotion of Ultrabooks, Intel Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has opened a retail space in Low Yat Plaza called Ultrabook City.
Touted as an "all-new retail experience," Ultrabook City is a space where consumers can have a touch and feel of the latest Ultrabook models from various manufacturers running on Intel's latest Core processors.
Visitors to Ultrabook City will have the chance to play with the latest models from Acer, Asus, Samsung, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony and Fujitsu.
Demonstrations of various technologies like facial recognition and other features will also be held from time to time.
Customers will also be able to purchase any of the Ultrabooks models shown at Ultrabook City.
As part of the launch of Ultrabook City, there are two contests being held for consumers, namely Ultrabook Temptations and Intel's Catch & Win Contest.
Ultrabook Temptations challenges customers to demonstrate as much excitement as possible for Ultrabooks which will then be "measured" for a chance to win an Ultrabook.
The Intel Catch & Win Contest, on the other hand, requires participants to download the Pocket Intel app for smartphones which can be used to capture special Ultrabook code markers hidden around Low Yat Plaza for a chance to win an Ultrabook every two weeks.
The Ultrabook Temptations contest runs until July 29, while the Catch & Win Contest will end Sept 16.
