Canon has launched a new compact document scanner, the imageFormula DR-C130.
It is designed to address the needs of small office, home office (SOHO) environments that have limited space.
Although compact, the DR-C130 is fast - it is able to scan up to 30-pages-per-minute and 60-images-per-minute (ipm) in both monochrome and colour.
It can scan documents in a single pass, supports many sizes including A3, and its automatic document feeder holds 50 sheets.
The DR-C130 also comes bundled with CaptureOn Touch software for sending scanned documents to cloud-aware applications like Evernote, Google Docs and Microsoft SharePoint.
The scanner also has a couple of handy features - it will automatically skip blank pages and rotate text to the correct orientation.
The DR-C130 document scanner will be available by the end of the month but the price has yet to be announced.
